Placing a video banner or a carousel instead of a still product image on a product page can be more attractive to customers and increase sales.
The way you implement the required functionality depends mostly on the theme that you are currently using — many themes already have some of the features by default. You can easily find all the options available in the corresponding product page section of your theme editor.
If the functionality you need is not available in your theme, in some cases like with the carousel functionality you may use an app from the Shopify App Store. However, editing the theme’s code would be the most efficient way to get the features you need in most cases.
